Oh yes, when I was younger I heard about sardines and condensed milk as a filling on a sandwich. I even tried it. Nasty. It’s quite a popular combination among a certain generation in South Africa (where I have indeed spent some time). And don’t get me started on Cream Soda – it must surely be the devil’s nightcap.
