Essentially, an online depiction of the confrontational ‘turn or burn’ approach to talking about faith. It usually only drives people away as was demonstrated by the likes of Pastor Terry Jones in Florida or Westboro Baptist Church. I’m personally more of a ‘sacrificial love’ and a ‘love your enemies’ guy. Not to mentioning developing real relationships as opposed to delivering stark ultimatums to strangers. However, when I was younger (and not a Christian at the time), my father-in-law (although not at the time) preached a classic ‘fire and brimstone/hell for sinners’ sermon which left me indignant with rage and disgust. But it got me thinking…
