Despite buckets of rain last year I still somehow managed to get a letter from my water utility company informing me of an impending hosepipe ban. Seriously. Other parts of the UK were a metre under water – we call those floods. Was my local resevoir simply some lone chap called Barry standing on a hill with a bucket? This was published in the BT ( 11/07/07) in place of the terrorism cartoon below.
